Bluebird Backcountry: BC Education - In on the ground floor..

With years of developing emergency medical experience, an educational background in snow safety with many great providers, crucial backcountry skills and qualifications to stand as a leader within the winter sports community, the timing of the phone call to come help the education program at the brand new human powered backcountry ski area, could not have been more ideal. Excited to hop on board and put my years of experience to work at this energetic operation with not only my classmate, my close friend to develop an Introduction to BC Touring class that we would expand upon and put energy in to grow this program of experiential learning in a safe environment.

Diving in and given the opportunity to lead morning AM briefings with the team of instructors and take part in team communications within the department of enthusiastic leaders. This is shaping up to be a most excellent season and with the opportunity to grow in this unfolding realm of possibility.
