Copper Mtn. Safety Fest

Volunteering with Colorado Mountain College to promote and educate the public about the Avalanche Science Program hosted at the Leadville, CO campus. Talking with people about our program and course details and the benefits of being involved in such a cutting edge certificate program for avalanche and snow safety professionals. In conjunction with daily schedule at the safety fest, we were to publicly demonstrate the concept, advantages and proper use of an Avalanche Airbag System. This was done by my partner, Ethan Collett and myself, teaming up before hand to strategize our discussion points and the functions of our tutorial. Addressing concerns pertinent to avalanche danger and the consequences of increased vulnerability when left unprotected in hazardous avalanche terrain.
